CONGRATULATIONS to all Trippers!

Lady’s and Gentlemen, it is already days ago, that our adventure has come to an end. Those who read the blog know that all teams did great on their journey: Not only crossing half of Europe and sticking to their tight budget without problems but completing almost every mission we provided them. CONGRATULATIONS to all Trippers!

Now…we are proud to finally present you the glorious winners of the trip 09:

On the THIRD PLACE, with 179 reached points and 19 completed missions, the last to reach the camp, the only team having spent a night in jail (mission impossible!) and nearly flown in a helicopter… a Team which’s members had never heard of each other without the trip… Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam A!!!!

SECOND, the team arriving first at the final destination after only four days. The only really Swiss team making it into the top 3, with 20 completed missions, having recruited their own choir in zadar (see movie)…only 4 points behind the winners, the immortal, the unforgettable FINAL DESTINATION TRIPPERS!!!!

Coming now to the team that found the best mixture of speed and missions. A team so worldly-wise and experienced that we are sure that they’ve been hitchhiking around in former lives. Keeping their heads high in their darkest hour (awaking on a bees nest after having failed in the games firs mission), nearly getting a night in jail and always giving their best until they reached the flag. Some words from the organizers

All teams have made it to the final destination except one. But Team A is only minutes away from reaching the island. Our flag is swinging over the cristal clear sea, the zikadas are zirping and the gentle smell of cooking meals lies in the air.

After an incredible adventure trough five countries, and over 30 missions the trippers are now liing back under the croatian sun. While the sun is dipping into the ocean stories of the past week are told and (not realy) cool beers are opend.

What we can tell by now is that the trip was a full succes for every person joining it. For all the adventurers, for us organisators and for the hundrets of people on the road that were supporting our teams.

A big thank to all of you!

But a final question stands open: Who will win this game? Team Philti completed a mission impossible, the Final Destination Trippers arrived first and last but not least we don’t know what Team A is going to tell us. This evening we will know it, when the teams are solving their last riddles and find their prices on top of an old lighthouse.
